Heidi focuses her practice on Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”) matters, labor and employment disputes, and general corporate representation. She represents clients in complex litigation involving railroad injury claims, workplace safety issues, and employment-related matters.

Prior to becoming an associate, Heidi served as a law clerk at MGS where she assisted through all phases of litigation by conducting legal research, brief writing, and case analysis. Prior to law school, Heidi was a paralegal for eight years where she worked on FELA, civil rights litigation, medical malpractice, and insurance defense cases. She was also a legal extern in the Commercial Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County where she assisted with legal research, drafted memoranda, and observed proceedings in complex commercial matters. Her prior experience gives her a deep understanding of the practical aspects of litigation from both plaintiff and defense sides.

Heidi graduated cum laude from the UIC School of Law where she was a board member of the UIC Law Review, member of the UIC Moot Court Honors Council, and prior teacher’s aide (PC) for legal writing.
